The Electric Company is a multi-faceted community arts space and recording studio in the Middlebury neighborhood of Akron. We house a record store, cafe, event space, music venue, and large recording studio in our 16,000 square foot building.

The Electric Company, in it's current iteration at 15 Broad St., was started in 2017. It was created by artists, and for artists- born out of a need for an accessible creative space that operated in a true community run, grassroots style. Our vision is to create a cultural hub for artists and art lovers to use, experience and enjoy.

For nearly 10 years, The Electric Company has been growing and shifting- always seeking to fill the creative and cultural needs of the community. We are passionate about supporting and continuing to co-create a thriving arts community and music scene, right here in Akron, Ohio.​
